KIFV (Republic of Korea)

The KIFV (Korean Infantry Fighting Vehicle) is a South Korean tracked armored vehicle developed from the M113 family and influenced by the AIFV design. Entering service in the 1980s, it provides protected transport and fire support for mechanized infantry. The standard K200 version carries a crew and infantry squad and is typically armed with 12.7 mm and 7.62 mm machine guns. Amphibious and highly mobile, the KIFV family includes command, mortar carrier, air-defense, recovery, and other specialized variants.
